With the 2005 season finished Chris and his team have had a break from racing continuously! There have however been a number of things that have occured recently:
Chris recently tested for Manor Motorsport in the 2005 Formula Renault Single Seater at the Croft Circuit. This test was arranged as a prize coutesey of Renaultsport uk who had picked Chris along with 8 drivers for showing the most improvement over the season. Chris acquittd himself well even though this was only his second time in a single seater, he set competitve times in very wet conditions and came away bubbling with enthusiasm after being flat in top in the wet sideways (141mph on the PI!). Chris still has ambitions within Karting however with his primary focas on the MSA Formula A championship. To stay sharp Chris and Mechanic Carbon have been competing in the Rotax Max class at PF club meetings and have had a string of good results using a Mari MK10 T2 kindly borrowed from JM Racing. Mike Mills has been suitibly impressed and is currently planning on entering the SUper 1 Rotax Championship next year with a team of drivers Chris included. Negotiations have been carried out to continue racing in Formula A in the 2006 season. Chris will race under the Velocity Motorsport Banner and will be run by Carbon, Engines are to be supplied by GFR. Pre season testing is to concentrate on the New dunlop formula A tyre.
